Seamus Ailin is the children’s pen name of James Allen, created for imaginative, animal-centered poetry and story collections for younger readers. These books are shaped by curiosity, kindness, gentle humor, and a sense of wonder about the creatures who share our homes and our world.

What began as a single book gradually grew into something larger. Like a child outgrowing a favorite pair of jeans, the project kept stretching beyond its original shape until it became a four-volume series, each book giving its own space to a different way of seeing animals, nature, and the small stories tucked inside everyday life.
