What Is a Beta Reader?
A beta reader gets an early look at a book before it is published and provides feedback from a reader’s point of view. You’re not expected to be an editor or proofreader. I’m interested in your reaction to the story: what worked, what didn’t, what confused you, and where you couldn’t put the book down.
Why Become One?
You get to read new books before anyone else and have a chance to help shape the finished story. Your feedback can identify things an author simply can’t see after spending months inside a manuscript.
